The Jadwiga is an example of Dutch craftsmanship: the peony was refined in the Netherlands. Another promising Dutch peony is the Jacorma. Just like Jadwiga, she blossoms till the end of the season.
Jadwiga’s flowers open up for the first time in June: in the middle of the season. Just before the season ends, they fall apart. This peony does not only blossom for a long time but also quite enthusiastic: she offers a lot of flowers. The flowers are framed by a big amount of green and shiny leaf.
This compact peony has strong stems and does not need support. These traits make her a great garden or field peony. Thanks to her long blossom period, you can enjoy her beautiful purple flowers all summer long. The peony likes well-drained soil and needs to grow in the full sun or partial shade.
